Stammtisch is a German word used for a group of regulars who meet (usually) at a bar at a specified table. Our Stammtisch is called a Kulturstammtisch to emphasize we meet and discuss topics with a German focus. We don’t always stay on topic. However, you will often hear someone talk auf Deutsch, but it’s not necessary. I like to think we’re more of a German version of Cheers.
